My daughter is a middle schooler.  She said she could care less about recess.

i think that middle schoolers should be allowed to have recess because itus a time to be free and to not care about working or any thing like that. i bet
there would be less talking in the class rooms and in turn the will be less tesion on teachers and the students. It would givr us a chance to express ourselves without being yelled at by our teacher. It would also improve our work and grades because we would have had a time to get all the stress out of us so when we get back from out side our minds are fresh.

i think that you are right. we do need a break sometimes, NO scratch that, we need a break EVERYDAY! everybdy thinks that since we are older we can take sitting in classes for 6 hours a day learning stuff we forget by the end of the day . lol i totally agree with you <<33

i totally believe in what ur saying!!!!!!! i am working right now with my school to create recess for middle school, which is how i found ur website. the school isnt giving me anything!!!!!!!! kids deserve some time to relax. with all the homework we have no time after school. recess is it, thats all we have. the teachers "SAY" that it will improve our test scores, but being soooooooooooooooo bored and tired of school only lowers our scores. this makes the teachers MAD(!!!!!!) so they cut down on what little other fun time we have like talking and getting up to throw our trash away at lunch. ITS INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like i am in a communist camp. IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am with u!!!!!

All we do is sit there because the teachers talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ITS FREE TIME FOR THE TEACHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
